March
Meeting:
Fenestra
Winery
83 Vallecitos Rd
Livermore, CA 94550
(925) 447-5246
The March CBS
meeting will be held at Fenestra Winery in Livermore, on March 22nd,
starting at 1pm. We will be meeting in the area behind the tasting
room near the creek, at the picnic tables. If anyone would like to
come a little early, the winery begins open tasting of its full roster
(20 some wines) at noon. Ken Petersen, Fenestra Answer-Man (and father
of CBS Treasurer June Delane) will be available to pour, answer questions,
and might even be able to break away for a brief tour of the winery.
Don't miss this
meeting! If you are a new member, you can pick up your *free* trio
(if you have made prior arrangements to do so), plus experience the
fine Fenestra wines, from wonderful, complex Viognier to deep, velvety
Merlot.
Meeting
Agenda:
- Review
of Fish-related Books
At this
month's meeting we'll be sharing reviews of each other's favorite
fish-related books (i.e., water quality, live plants, fish health,
and last but not least, any books on Bettas!)
Bring your
favorite books and any relevant topics you would like to share
with your fellow members.
- Bay
Area Killifish Association West Coast Weekend commitment (April
25-26)
Volunteers,
working assignments, dates and times to be finalized.
- CBS
July IBC Show Planning
Please
consider how you can help CBS at our upcoming July IBC International
Show. If everyone can volunteer for as little as one hour, or
assume responsibility for a particular duty, this will help
every member feel like part of the "CBS Team", and
feel pride at being a part of a successful, meaningful event!
