CBS Meeting Minutes – February 22, 2003

The January meeting was held at The Bug Farm – High Prairie Farms, 35 Mark Drive in San Rafael. There were 10 members who attended the meeting: June, Ariel, Paul, Karlton, Jim, Sarah, Kathy and Joe, Dennis and Wendy. There were 4 guests who attended: Albert Mui, Janet Bandy, Chris Crowell and Timothy Lee. Both Timothy and Chris decided to join CBS, so they are now both official members of CBS as of this meeting. It was great to have such a strong turn out at this meeting. We really appreciate the attendance of all our guests and welcome our new members Timothy Lee and Chris Crowell!!!

Jim and Sarah Atchison gave us a great tour of their facility and we all left with a lot of new innovative ideas about tank decoration, airline and water plumbing design and trying to figure out how we could incorporate a few angel fish into our existing betta flora and fauna???? It was clear that High Prarie Farms is destined for good things. Thank You Jim and Sarah – it was wonderful to see your Bug and Fish Farm.

Also, there is going to be a special sale at High Prarie Farms on Saturday March 29th – don’t forget to stop by (now that you’ve been there before) and get the fish or bug you’ve been wanting at a special sale price.

New Business

Our CBS website is hosted by VRX. It is owned and maintained by Richard Sexton. He’s a Canadian and it’s something he does for fish clubs at no charge. Jim Atchison knew the story and shared it with us at the meeting. He suggested sending a "Thank You" card and a check for $50 to $100 to Richard after our Convention (based on our profits) as a way of thanking him for hosting our web site.
